Tiny / Special ships

Sentinel - a small, autonomous craft that is often used in grids around an orbital body, to prevent unauthorized ships from entering without notice

Grinder, Welder and Fabricators - ships whose only purpose are to weld, grind, or repair other crafts. are often used to carve into ships with low defence, to scrap them for parts.

Shielder - ships whose only purpose are as a hardlight shield projector, often physically attaching themselves to whichever ship needs the most defence at the current time.

Router - a ship that doesn't fit a specific class, usually those that would be junk carriers if they weren't high quality

Scrap (+ Class) - Anything that has been modified to do something other than its original purpose and is visibly so from the outside (or low in quality)

Warper - A warper is a device that transports anything inside, using travel through Nihil or Vitae to shorten the distance of travel.
Warpers are common for short trips, but generally less common than regular transport due to the dangerous nature of Nihil and Vitae. Longer trips inside the dimensions also take more Viw, which may not be sustainable for cheaper warpers.

Small ships

Fighters and Viw fighters - 1 person fighters, with guns, minimal Spikes and usually plasma guns. Nova refers to the capacity to teleport in or out of battle using a Viw Engine.
<Typically, a 1-60-27 Viw engine or smaller>

Bombers and Viw bombers - often modified fighters, with the main distinction being that they carry high explosive Spikes or Antimatter Spikes.

Probe - a small craft, sometimes unmanned, used to check/hack enemy defences, research orbital bodies, or generally just have quicker movement than the rest of a fleet.

Shuttle - a small craft that is used to bring people or objects between orbital bodies or their orbit.

Nail - hope you don't fight a hammer. high-speed (almost always) unmanned drones that are used to overwhelm larger ships.

Medium ships

Nail gun - a craft whose only purpose is to deploy swarms of ships, whether it be Nails, miners or Nova fighters.

Hammer - everything looks like a nail. A slow, highly offensive gun platform, typically sent to melt through swarms, or to burn through Hardlight Shields.

Interceptor - small assault crafts (effectively larger fighters), sometimes modified from smaller conveyors.

Wedge - a specialised craft with a large 'icebreaker' or other solid body on the front, used for ramming other crafts, space stations, or asteroids. Some rarely come with a Viw Engine to teleport inside the other ship, though this is obviously highly risky unless done incredibly precisely, and is often a last resort.

Tanker - smaller trading vessels, named after the ones often seen carrying ice on long distances to orbital bodies lacking water.

Sleeper - sometimes gigantic, often very long cylinders, filled with cryopods. usually used for long-distance transport over several hundred years, but some have been known to be filled with exotic foods for high-end ecumenopolises.

What one could call "Actual Spaceships"

Redoubt - a slow but highly defensive craft, often holding ammunitions, cargo and/or prisoners.

Conveyor - cargo carriers and loaders.

Striker - fast medium assault crafts, are made by modifying Conveyors when war breaks out.

Ghost - a more compact but more powerful striker, normally smaller, and with lower visible power output being hidden through use of thermal regulators. Can also refer to ships with hidden guns or deployable ships.

Large ships

Javelin - a relatively large craft that is built around speed over defence

Aurora - an all around assault craft

Anvil - a large repair craft, usually with a thick hull and active offense to aquire more spare parts from the enemy.

Titan - a gigantic dedicated storage craft, often holding Mechs or Nails to be deployed on the enemy.

Obelisk - slow moving defensive craft, often used to land ships on a planet regardless of its defenses

Juggernaut - a large heavy gun platform, effectively a larger hammer.

Warlord - a larger Aurora, often being a slow and well-armoured behemoth

Mothership - almost always the largest ship in the battlespace, often holds hangars for repairing a fleet, spare munitions and provisions, aswell as living quarters, command centers, and even small cities if the need arises.

Others

Transporters - a person carrier, often a gigantic craft that is used to transport people, goods or even other vehicles between star systems. usually carrying Viewplants or acting as Viw controllers to create portals for other ships.

Eradicator - Less spaceship and more of a weapon that can sometimes also fly through space, these can include meteor-throwers and planet destroyers (though only one of the latter have yet to be successfully built, and quickly destroyed)
